Originally from Wisconsin, David and his husband Marc have spent the last 30 years living and (much to David’s dismay) working in Washington, D.C. They will soon be relocating to Palm Springs, CA where David will work to hard grow his new publishing venture, Athame Libros. In addition to orchestrating and editing a new collection of short science fiction tales (including his own story “Socrates”) that will be release in January 2018, David’s work has appeared in other anthologies from DoorQ Publications: In Darkness Peering: Tales From the Bent Side (2015); What Lurks in Darkness: More Tales From the Bent Side (2016); and New Years to Christmas (2012). David’s literary influences include, but are by no means limited to: H.P. Lovecraft; Clive Barker; Ira Levin; Stephen King; Tanith Lee, Marion Zimmer Bradley; Roald Dahl; Josh Lanyon; Ruth Rendell; Jordan Castillo Price, Rick R. Reed, Shirley Jackson; Armistead Maupin; M.R. James, and Richard Matheson.
